Review Of Remington EP1050CDN Facial Tweezer System

Review Of Remington EP1050CDN Facial Tweezer SystemThe Remington EP1050CDN Facial Tweezer System is one of those less well known models of hair removing epilators sold by the company Remington. The EP1050CDN seems to be one of those facial hair epilators which is probably more appropriately labeled an electrical tweezer. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of information on this model. What we did find seems to show that the model is only average in quality.

My Review

The Facial Tweezer System by Remington has only 6 tweezers at the head. This means that if you want to get it to work well, it would require a lot of focus and effort to align the tweezers with the hairs you are trying to remove. The lack of tweezers is definitely the major problem with this model. It is not intended to be used for hair removal on the legs or body. That is too much skin surface to cover. This is for very specific areas. If you are looking to get an epilator which would remove hair for the body and legs as well we would suggest another epilator model with at least 36 tweezers.

The other thing is that this device is extremely small and light. It operates on just 1 AA battery alone which is included. There is also a protective cap for the head tip but that is about it in terms of features for this model.

So what do other people who already bought it think about it?

This model almost has about 20 reviews so far on the Amazon product page. That is much less than what we have seen with the other models we have already reviewed. This one clearly is not as popular as the others. Out of those reviews that are there, about 1/3rd have given it the highest of ratings. Another 1/3rd have given it the lowest of ratings. The average out rating is a 7/10 which shows that there have been a large percentage of people who have some type fo major complaint about it. There seems to be a lot of big problems with this model. These are just a few complaints made so far…

  • The tip actually started to burn the upper lip when it touched the skin for too long
  • It doesn’t work. It can’t remove the hair as advertised.
  • Caused scarring on the skin
  • It did not pull out any hairs.

Based on just a few reviews, we sort of have some idea of what this model of electrical tweezers are like. It is definitely not something which I would recommend to anyone. What I would suggest however is to go with the Emjoi Tweezer Tweezer. I did write a review Here before on how the Emjoi Tweezer is effective in removing hair from the face and very small specific areas of the body.
