I am an American guy who came to Seoul, South Korea and loved the country and decided to stay to start Seoul Brow, the first Eyebrow Threading company in South Korea

The art of eyebrow threading has been practiced in ancient cultures like India, Pakistan, and Iran for many centuries by young and old females of the family who learn this unique art form.

We have found multiple pictures of the before and after pictures of people who have had their eyebrows threaded or trimmed. Notice the difference in how they look after the session

The practice of eyebrow threading is hygenic and safe. The cotton used is 100% natural cotton so it will be irritating the skin

Like most eyebrow threading locations, we also offer the service of doing henna tattoos in not only the traditional red color dye, but also more fun blue and green coloring.

So where else around the world can you get eyebrow threading done if you are outside of the country and looking for a location? Find out Here!

So what is eyebrow threading? How is it done and is it painful?

How Much Does The Average Eyebrow Threading Session Cost?

We can’t say for everyone but in our own personal experience, we charge around $30 or in the Korean currency won, 30,000 for a single session of threading.

Now, back at home say in Texas, Virginia, or the USA, most of the salons that does eyebrow trimming and grooming have the price around $20 per session, but we offer more than just the typical threading session

We like to treat our customers and potential future customers as a family. That means that if you come to visit us to get your brows down, we will warmly greet you, and serve you even free refreshments, popcorn, candy, and cookies!

So come and stop by SeoulBrow and let us make you even more beautiful! :)

Electrical Stimulation Devices For Hair Removal

Electrical Stimulation Devices For Hair Removal

Electrical Stimulation Devices For Hair RemovalSomething that a lot of people might not be aware of is that there are ways to remove hair that are unlike the conventional methods like waxing, shaving, trimming, or even the practice of epilation. We are talking about the practice of using a type of electrical current emitting device to remove hair.

The use of Functional Electrical Stimulation has been something that neurologist have been doing for decades now for medical applications. Some biomedical devices like Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation Devices have been used to stimulate nerve tissue for blocking electrical signals which tell the brain upwards of the spinal cord that there is no pain below in the body.

There are a lot of difference kinds of other ways to remove hair. There is the use of Lasers in Laser Hair Removal Surgery. There is the use of Ultrasound Surgery for hair removal as well. Check out the article entitled Laser Hair Removal – Cutting-edge ultrasound technology could spell the end of unsightly facial hair You can see a review on how effective Laser Hair Removal is from the video below

The last option is in using electrical stimulation to remove hair. There are already many devices which are sold which claim to use electrical current at low intensities and frequencies to regrow hair but at high intensities, those same electrical currents can be used to remove hair.

How does the technology work?

Most people realize that hair consists of actually a type of fibrous protein that the human body makes. The main component in hair is keratin. Keratin is a type of compound that makes up the nails, hair, and outer skin. To break down the protein all you have to do is break the external membrane or denature the structure of the protein. Laser Hair Removal works because the concentrated light is so intense that the structure of the proteins are completely unfolded.

In the same way, if a device can emit electrical currents that are strong enough, they can break down the fibrous keratin in the hair until they never grow back again. In some ways, this may be the safest way for smooth hairless skin.

HairMax LaserComb Advanced 7The HairMax LaserComb Advanced 7 was the first device we ever found which has the purposes of regrowing hair instead of removing them. We have talked about shaving, epilators, waxing, tweezing, and even Laser Hair Removal surgery but we have sort of neglected mentioning the fact that most people do want thick, luscious hair on their scalp. Not many people wish to go with the bald look.
